impeccable service and special touches make alkira stand out as the best place for your ski holiday
Staying at Alkira was a magical experience! The owners, Christopher and Barbara, provided exceptional hospitality, offering to help with our ski passes and even sharing local dining tips. The spacious rooms were not only clean but also provided stunning views of the valley. The breakfast was delicious, with a wonderful variety of options each morning. Their thoughtful ski storage arrangement made getting to the lifts so easy. We truly felt at home during our stay!

Modern bathroom with great walk-in shower, stunning mountain views, small common hallway with kitchenette.
A steep five-minute walk back from town was less than enjoyable!!! Ski storage arrangements could be more convenient as it limits flexibility for takes on snow conditions!!! Overall, improvements needed for easy transitions!!!

i had such high hopes for this place, but wow, a five minute steep walk back? really? not what i expected at all. also, i woudl ve appreciated some special treatment, like an upgrade or a welcome gift. almost left a good review, but the endless stairs and lack of a warm welcome overshadowed it all.

Exceptional hospitality from the hosts made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. The room was impressively spacious and well-kept, boasting splendid views. Breakfast featured a delightful spread of fresh artisan bread and local delicacies. Convenience was key with ski storage located right by the lifts, simplifying our daily outings. However, the walk back from the main area was a bit steep at times, and the Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent during our stay.
